🐾 Business Information
Thalia’s Pawsitive Grooming is a sole proprietorship operating in Riverside, California, providing one-on-one dog grooming services in a calm, controlled environment.
📅 Appointments & Booking
A $25 non-refundable booking fee is required to secure all appointments and will be applied toward the final service total. Appointments are only confirmed once the booking fee has been received.
❌ Cancellation, Rescheduling & No-Shows
We kindly require at least 12 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling.
Cancellations made 12 hours or more in advance are eligible for a full refund of the booking fee.
Cancellations made with less than 12 hours’ notice will result in forfeiture of the booking fee.
No-shows will not be refunded. Exceptions may be considered only if the client provides timely communication.
After three no-shows, clients may be declined future services or required to pay in full upfront.
Rescheduling is available and accommodations may be made when possible, based on availability.
⏰ Punctuality Policy
Clients must arrive on time. A grace period of 15–20 minutes may be allowed. After this window, the appointment may need to be rescheduled to respect other scheduled clients.
💲 Pricing & Charges
Pricing is based on the dog’s size, coat condition, and behavior.
Base pricing applies to dogs up to 25 lbs; larger dogs may incur additional charges.
Additional fees apply for matted coats, excessive shedding, or services requiring extra time.
If additional time or services are needed, the owner will be notified.
All remaining balances must be paid in full at the time of pick-up via cash, Zelle, or Venmo.
🐕 Health & Safety Requirements
For the safety of all pets:
Dogs must be up-to-date on vaccinations, and proof may be required.
Dogs with fleas, ticks, or visible infections will not be accepted and should be seen by a licensed veterinarian.
We reserve the right to decline services if a pet’s condition may compromise their health or safety.
✂️ Matting Policy
If a dog’s coat is severely matted and cannot be safely brushed out, a full shave-down may be required.
Clients acknowledge that:
Shaving matted coats may cause skin irritation or sensitivity due to underlying conditions.
Additional fees may apply.
In some cases, services may be declined if deemed unsafe.
⚠️ Behavior & Liability
The safety and well-being of each pet is our top priority.
Aggressive or unsafe behavior may result in refusal or discontinuation of service.
If a client insists on continuing service despite behavioral concerns, they assume full responsibility for any resulting injuries.
Thalia’s Pawsitive Grooming is not responsible for pre-existing conditions or reactions that may occur during or after grooming.
Clients must disclose any known health conditions or sensitivities prior to the appointment.
In the event of a possible allergic reaction, clients must notify the groomer immediately.
🐾 Service Environment
All grooming services are provided as one-on-one appointments in a calm, controlled space.
This is a drop-off only service.
For multiple pets from the same household, separate consecutive appointments must be scheduled.
In certain cases, one pet may be safely kenneled during a sibling’s appointment (for dogs under 35 lbs only).
📸 Photo & Media Consent
Clients may be asked for permission to take before and after photos of their pets for portfolio or social media use. Participation is voluntary, and clients may decline at any time.
💳 Payments
Accepted payment methods include cash, Zelle, and Venmo.
The booking fee is required to confirm the appointment.
The remaining balance must be paid in full at pick-up.
Failure to complete payment at the time of service may result in refusal of future appointments.
🚫 Right to Refuse Service
Thalia’s Pawsitive Grooming reserves the right to refuse or discontinue services at any time due to:
Aggressive or unsafe pet behavior
Health concerns (fleas, infections, etc.)
Unsafe conditions or client misconduct
📍 Service Area
Services are provided in Riverside, California. All appointments are drop-off and pick-up only.

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of California.
By booking an appointment, the client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
Thalia’s Pawsitive Grooming reserves the right to update or modify these terms at any time without prior notice.
